International day against capital punishment

Today, October 10th of 2010 marks the international day against capital punishment. On the day the world makes a stance against the death penalty, the illegitimate government of Iran has the dubious infamy of maintaining its top slot among all the nations. And on the very same day, the disgraceful Islamic regime executes 4 persons (3 men and 1 woman) in Zanjan, in a typical nose-thumbing gesture to the rest of the world.

Statistics show that in the first 6 months of 2010, Iran has conducted at least 137 executions. There are also more than 100 reported cases where the sentence has been issued and they are awaiting their execution.
